Meeting notes

This is very introductory, but can be a useful idea for recording what happens at meetings - if you remember any meetings, add them here!

October - planned entirely at Yr Pants, where Amber, Nick, Lauryn, and Jo lived at the time.

January -
February - Interview with Silicon Valley Community Newspapers reporter at Coffee Society, discussed March Theme.
March - Planned: April Ride-Battle of the Helmets. May Ride- Light up your Bicycle. Goal: Expand routes. Amber/Sarah-Work on Scavenger Hunt for extra day ride. Amber/Ben-work on Bike Prom and coordinating bike ride with other community events.
April- 8 people in attendance:
- Green Team to help pick up trash. Announcing leaving in 5 minutes to remind people to throw away trash
- Try to start leaving promptly at 9 PM. Even if people get left behind
- April Ride- Ride to Los Gatos (approx 16 miles)
- May Ride-Ride to Mary Ave Bridge, Troll Theme (approx 20 miles)
- June Ride-"Light Rider" (originally scheduled for May)
- Amber purchase Helmet Contest Prize, find winning by self selection and cheering for the best.
- Agenda and minutes for next meeting.
May-11ish people in attendance
- Create ways to help list to encourage volunteers
- clear structure of how to volunteer, meet up (early before ride)
- make sure rest stops are wider/multiple entrances (large parking lots, not deep)
- Walkie Talkie + Bullhorns
- Bike Prom-still no venue. No contact from community rebirth
- Ben and Justin with help with scavenger hunt barbeque
- June=light rider
- Other theme ideas for July: Fireworks, Partriotic, bathing suit ride, squirt guns, back to school
